This book is a picture compendium of Chinese people, places, and events that I recorded while on a study tour of China.What is Asia? Is it not all people east of the Himalayan Mountains? How did this group of people come to be called Asian? The Greek term "Anatole" translates to "Orient/East," which is the meaning behind the word Asia. We will learn if this is true. The Imperial Japanese Empire was Japan's reorganized vision for Asia in the 1930s. Asia can be considered a group of imagined territories or regions, and China is one region in Asia.
